Description

The Dome Joint – 288 Core is an advanced fiber optic splice closure designed to allow high density splice joints between either, major fiber intersections or high fiber count cable joints. With 6 primary ports and an additional loop port, this closure is ideal for accomodating complex network configurations. It can accomodate 2x 144 fiber cable joints with ease. Utilizing the loop port you are also able to allow for midspan access to large capacity fiber cables.

This dome joint’s port design utilizes a water tight heathrink and epoxy opening. Allowing for complete submergence in water at a rating of IP68. This is an ideal enclosure for harsh outdoor environments and can be installed on a pole, on a suspension wire, on a wall or underground within a man hole. The UV treated polycarbonate plastic housing is ideal for direct sunlight exposure and can withstand extreme tempratures or weather conditions.
