Description

The Imperial 2000 floating machine is designed and built in South Africa. It’s used to float fiber cable within micro duct conduit already installed when laying out new fiber infrastructure. This floating machine is designed to float fiber between 2mm and 9mm (OD). Fiber ducts compatible are 8/5mm – 14/10mm The machine uses a pressurized chamber that has a steel wheel to push the fiber into the micro duct conduit. The machine is capable of pushing fiber in the correct conditions up to 1km. A separate air compressor with 6 bars of pressure and a constant air flow of 650 L/m is required to operate the floating machine. This is sold separately. The floating machine is a great design for easy use and lightweight enough to move easily with one person. Its components are designed and made with the highest quality requirements possible. All parts are manufactured in South Africa and can be serviced or sourced easily.
