Description
“The ONU SFP module is a great high-performance networking option when building a PON network. The ONU SFP module can be utilized when connecting clients to a network where you want to remove the standalone ONU as a failure point or want to connect higher-end routing hardware that has SFP ports. The module can only be implemented by the ISP as the module needs to be configured with the ISPs settings and passwords. A client or customer of the Fiber Network Operator (FNO) can not replace their current ONU/ONT with this device as it requires administration from the FNO.
The SFP Tranciever operates on a wavelength of 1490/1310nm and supports data rates of 2.5Gbps download and 1.25Gbps upload.
The SFP uses a SC/UPC port with a maxium range of 20km to the OLT.
