Description

The FHO5000 Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) is a well built and easy to use meter.
This OTDR has the capability to test multiple wavelengths on both Single Mode and Multimode fiber. The unit has the ability to indicate events on a single view similar to the IOLM feature on EXFO units. It is designed to be able to easily test through splitters with a 1:32 configuration on PON networks.
In addition to OTDR and Event Map functionality, the FHO5000 has a Visual Fault Locator (VFL), Power Meter and Light Source built into the unit.
The unit has the ability to generate reports and produce files that can be pulled off the device and generated into a .pdf report
This OTDR is the perfect device for installers who want to validate connections on both Single Mode and Multimode cables.
