Description

The fiber optic splice tray is used to provide a secure location to store and to protect the fiber connections and the splices. The tray is designed to mount splice protectors and excess fiber strands.

This tray can be installed in multiple locations, rack mount enclosures, exterior or interior enclosures. What ever might be needed for the installer. The tray also has holes for mounting to an enclosure with nuts/bolts. Alternatively double sided tape is frequently used to secure the tray to its enclosure. The trays are also designed to stack, so you can place multiple trays on top of one another, though the size of the enclosure must be taken into account to accomodate spacing. Each tray comes with a cover to ensure splice joints are well protected.

This tray is a little larger than our smaller black tray and can accomodate a large number of splice joints comfortably. It has a clear cover and allows for easy viewing of joints as well as a pre labeled cover to allow for easy lableling.

These trays are designed to take 60mm (3mm diameter) splice protector sleeves but can accomodate 45 and 40mm if needed.
